"My passion is to help people!"
As an athlete, trained doula, health nut, GMU associate professor, wife, and mom of two boys, I like to bring compassion and the utmost care to each and every one of my patients.
My purpose as a Doctor of Chiropractic is to help as many people as possible get well, stay healthy naturally and educate them about how chiropractic care can help them maintain optimal health. I strongly believe in patient education and empowering patients and their families to improve the quality of their lives through a multidisciplinary approach. I examine patients, review their history, analyze the results of digital x-ray findings, as well as diagnose and treat the patient's condition, advising them about methods of preventive health care.
I work with numerous healthcare professionals within the area including local OBGYN offices, general practitioners, orthopedic doctors, neurologist, and various other health care professionals to administer the best care possible to my patients’ needs.
In my quest to help as many people as possible within northern virginia, I have built a patient base of pre/postnatal mothers, infants, children, athletes, migraine sufferers as well as treated countless pre/post-operative shoulder/knee/spine, disc injury, sciatic pain, nerve pain, and chronic pain patients, just to name a few.
Dr. Christina loves working with pregnant moms and kids. There is no better feeling than becoming a mom! As a mother of two boys, I understand the importance of having a happy and healthy pregnancy without pain and discomfort. I have taken numerous classes in order to provide care and comfort to my expectant mothers and their families including being certified in the Webster protocol (technique specific for pregnant mothers) as well as taken doula training courses. I have put together proven protocols to manage a variety of pregnancy pains such as sacroiliac joint pain, pubic symphysis pain, sciatica, pregnancy headaches, low back/neck pain, carpal tunnel, breech position pregnancies, and round ligament pain.
For my pediatric patients, I believe in allowing a child’s natural healing abilities to shine through by using a combination of gentle spinal adjustments and nutritional/lifestyle advice. In my quest to educate others about the role of chiropractic in children’s health care, I have hosted classes and lectures in the local area about the importance of a healthy lifestyle for expectant mothers, babies, and families.
I truly believe that healthy kids become healthy adults!
I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic and was the recipient of the James Buerkle Memorial Award for leadership, service, and commitment to Palmer College and the chiropractic profession. I was also nominated by my peers and faculty members for the esteemed Clinic Excellence Award as well as The Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award.
